It is the policy of American Furukawa that employment be based on merit, qualifications and competence.
All employment decisions shall be made without regard to an applicant's or employee's race, color, age, sex, sexual orientation, familial status, religious creed, national origin, ancestry, medical condition, marital status, or disability, or other status that is protected under federal, state or local laws.
American Furukawa also prohibits harassment of an employee based on any status set forth. This policy governs all areas of employment, including promotions, assignments and terminations.
